Czech Republic Euro 2008 Odds

Czech Republic Euro2008The Czech Republic have an excellent record of qualifying for the Eurpoean Championship and have a record of performing well once there. In Euro 96 they were beaten in the final by Germany and more recently they were beaten in the semi finals of Euro 2004. They disappointed at the 2006 World Cup, failing to progress beyond the first round but head Coach Karel Bruckner will be optimistic of making amends for that at Euro 2008 with a squad of young talented players.

They quailified for Euro 2008 as group winners losing just once in the process. Despite finishing ahead of tournament favourites Germany in qualifying and being in a group they should qualify from, the Czech Republic odds of winning Euro 2008 are around 14/1 to win the Championship for the first time since 1976 and could well represent a good bet.

Key Player
Striking partnership Milan Baros and Jan Koller both boast exceptional goalscoring records at international level and could well be the players to fire the Czech Republic to glory.
