Group D winners England face Group C runners-up Italy in the fourth and final Quarter-Final. Italy head into the match as the narrow favourites in what is predicted to be a very tight and cagey game.
England exceeded all expectations by finishing top of their group after collecting seven points from their three games. They have yet to put in a complete performance but have been praised for their gritty resilience. Meanwhile Italy managed to hold defending champions Spain to a 1-1 draw as they went on to finish second in Group D with five points.
The teams haven't played each other since back in 2002, with Italy coming out on top 2-1 in a friendly at Elland Road. The last time they met in a major tournament was in Italia 1990, with Italy winning 2-1. They have only played each other once at a European Championship, which was Euro 1980, with Italy again getting the better of England in a 1-0 win.
