Greece Euro 2008 Odds

Greece are the current European Champions following victory at Euro2004 where they defied pre tournament odds of 100/1 to spring the biggest shock in the European Championship history. However, Coach Otto Rehhagel will have his work cut out to repeat the achievements of four years ago but his side will no doubt be full of confidence following a successful qualifying campaign and their experience may help them reach the later stages once again.

The Euro 2008 odds for Greece becoming the first team to win back to back European Championships are around 25/1, much shorter than in Portugal and at that kind of price are probably best left alone.

The Greeks do have players capable of helping their team to win games and the two such reliable players include Celtic striker Georgios Samaras and Bolton midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos.
