This will be Romania’s fourth appearance in the History of the European Championships and the best they have finished is when beaten in the Quarter Finals at Euro2000, the last time they qualified for a major tournament. They will have their work cut out to make it through this Group C and should be bigger than 50/1 to win the tournament.

It will be important for the defenders and goalkeeper to be on form for Romania and the experience of Inter Milan defender and team captain Cristian Chivu will be vital if they are to cause any upsets in their three matches.
