Turkey Euro 2012 Odds
Their best effort in previous European Championships came in Euro 2008 when they were beaten in the semi finals by Germany. Turkey lack pedigree in major tournaments having only appeared in two World Cups and three European Championships.
They have one of the most astute and tactical coaches in Guus Hiddink, but such was Germany's prolific form in Qualification Group A that Turkey had no chance of gaining automatic qualification. They left it until the last day to secure a Euro 2012 Play-Off place and will now face the tricky task of beating Croatia in order to secure their place in next summer's Finals.
Pre Tournament odds on Turkey winning Euro 2012 are 80/1 with Paddy Power.
Key Player
Since Hakan Suker retired the Turkish team have failed to find a goal scorer to replace him and there is little sign of a star emerging.
